    Hello,
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any success using the Delogo filter 1.3.2 (used with virtual dub) with Sony Vegas (via WAX 2.0). I'm able to load the filter onto the media track and go through the configuration options, but when i'm finished with the configurations, the video is left untouched. Also, every works fine when I use the filter in virtual dub.
Let me know what you think. Thanks.

the filter doesnt work via wax , you have to frame serve to vegas via the vfapi interface instead - or render out of VD first ...

note that have had some weird results with the vfapi wrapper - with HD 1080i files .. the time code gets messed up when used with tmpgenc as the server (source are blackmagic 10bit QT files)

Thanks for the response. I'm gonna give things a shot (frameserving). I also stumbled upon another filter which i'm going to try.

Have you run the AuxSetup.exe file in the VDub root folder ? This preps the system to allow VDub to frameserve.

OK. So you load up the avi, and go File->Start frame server.

Do you get the dialog to give the FS a name ?

If so, you click on the Start button and get asked to save a signpost file. Do you get this ?

If so, you save the file, and the FS status dialog should open. Do you get this ?

If you have got this far, you should be able to open the signpost file in your encoder and see the output from the frameserver (ignore the vfapi side of things for the moment, let's just get the FS working)

Just to let you know, I found another Vdub delogo filter THAT WORKS with Vegas and Wax. It's called "Region Remove" and it works well.
I'm not exactly sure where i got it from but if you do search with it's name, i'm sure you will find it.

Thanks so much for replying - I'm not highjacking the post

    -Yes, Sir.

If so, you click on the Start button and get asked to save a signpost file. Do you get this ?
    -Yes, sure.

    -Yes, I do...

-When I go to save the file, nothing is saved. That's why I can't open it with the encoder. Anyway, I'll try it again - thanks again for your help.
    Cheers,
    Mark
