When I'm converting a clip to a muxed mpg, i never get audio if i choose ac3. I get sound if i use MP2 however. Is there something i'm overlooking?, please pardon the newbie.

Which player? Do you not hear audio in QuickTime Player, VLC and mplayer? Unlike the other two, it is a known limitation of QuickTime Player to not decode AC3 audio in MPEG streams, even if you have the AC3 component installed.Originally Posted by vix
