  1. Greetings!

I haven't made a DVD in several years now. I have a BenQ 16x DL DVD burner, which came with some free authoring software (that I'd have to dig up.)

So my question is, what would be a good freeware DVD authoring program that would be worth getting to learn and use?

I just have AVIs of home videos, and all I really want to do is add maybe some nice menus. Would really like some software where it is easy to do the simple stuff, but that I could later learn to make "fancier" menus and more "interactive" DVDs.

I'll be browsing all over this site (but I am at the moment somewhat overwhelmed!)

    Thanks so much in advance.

    Joey

    Hi:

Not a heck of a lot of choice for freeware authoring programs, Dvdauthor (together with GUI for dvdauthor)springs to mind. Have a look at the Authoring (DVD) list.
