Hello All. Apologies for cross-posting. I have some movies that are HR xvid (960 x 528) with 5.1 AC3 audio. I want to convert them to play on my philips 642 - if I try now it says resolution not supported. I have FFMPEG and D-Vision to work with (I'm using a Mac), but so far all my attempts wont play on the Philips (they look/sound fine on the computer). Can anyone provide detailed settings for either app that would work?
    Many Thanks,
    DP

Try reencoding them to dvd specs. 720x480 for ntsc.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I'd like to keep them as divx files.
    Thanks,

You can keep them as avi but you need to reencode them to a resolution your dvd player will accept. It will accept 720x480.
