Hi all. Was wonding if it's possible to merge two miniDVD's using a video editor, say Ulead VideoStudio 10 or Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0? Or can you only merge miniDVD's using dvdremake?

Define Merge. DVD Remake Pro is a great tool for merging if you want to keep the original menus. I would only use an editor to do this if you need to edit the contents together. If it is just a metter of merging content, there are better tools.

If you don't need the original menus, you can use DVD Shrink in reauthor mode. You won't get any menus from this method however.

TDA could also be used to bring the contents together, as well building a menu.

By merge I mean keeping the original menus and have a menu that shows 'Disk 1' and 'Disk 2' when you put a dvd in a player, for example. I know DVD Remake can do this but was wondering if a video editor can do this as well. Also, what's the major difference between DVD Remake and Dvd Remake Pro? I know this question doesn't belong here, but thought I'd ask...

Best answered by going to the DVD Remake site and looking at the products.

Editors work at the video level, not the disc level. Even editors that are all-in-one and can produce DVD structures as output cannot read those structures inand modify them.
