WinAvi works fine with TV shows but not with movies

I can convert and burn 5 42 min tv shows to 1 disc but not a movie
I can convert and burn the movie but it wont work in any of my 3 dvd players but it will work on my PC
the tv show discs work fine in all 3 dvd players
I have also burnt movies using other software other than winavi and they work in my dvd players

Well, that sounds like WinDVD is the problem. It's not that great of software, no matter what the their ads may say. Try other software and see if you have the same problem. I use ConvertXToDVD most of the time. If I want quality, I use TMPGEnc encoder and TMPGEnc DVD Author. I convert the audio to AC3 with ffmpeggui. If it's a commercial video I need to back up, I use DVD Shrink and DVD Fab Decrypter occasionally. I burn the resulting ISO with IMGBurn.

Maybe the problem is about "region".Have you found "target format" in its advanced page? You may make sure it's the same as your dvd players.If not,do the conversion again,that will be ok.
