I just bought a new 'I/O-Magic PC PVR' TV tuner card, and tried to install the drivers under Windows XP. The manual says it should install all the video/audio drivers from the cd, but it doesn't. When I check my Device Manager, it shows 'WDM Audio Capture' listed BUT it says there is no driver installed for this device. I checked the IOMagic webpage and they don't have drivers specifically for XP. I tried NT and 2k versions but no luck. So when I try to watch tv I get no sound. (If it matters, the sound connects out of the TV card into the Line-In on my AWE64, and the tv/capture audio settings are set to Line-In)
Any suggestions? Are there 'generic' WDM audio drivers that I can run under XP to get this to work, or am I on the wrong track here? Might just return the card.
Thanks, Dave
