This may be a stupid question, but I’ll ask anyway because I haven’t been able to find an answer

What I would like to do is make a DVD that is playable in a set-top player but also have a file on the disc that has the MP4 version of the video so you can access that via a PC to load it on a PSP. I know how to author the (standard DVD) files, and convert the file I want to MP4. What I don’t know is; where can I put the MP4 file on the DVD (when I burn it) and not have it mess up the playback of the DVD on a set-top player? If I put the file in the main directory (i.e. not in the VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS folders) will that work? Or does it need to be in a special directory?

    Any help would be appreciated

  2. I just drag and drop my AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders to my burning software as usual.

Then drag and drop any other files I want to add (jpeg images, wmv files,...) without placing them in a folder then burn as usual.

The movie plays fine in my DVD player then when I want to access the other files I simply open the disc in my computer using Windows Explorer.
