  1. Hi

I just convert a video file to mpg2 using tmpgenc
the audio in the source file seem ok and have no humming sound in the background
But when I listen to my output mpg2 file there is a humming soung during all the 2 hour video.
I also try to extrack the audio from the source to a wav and then encode the output mpg2 file
using the video as the video source and the wav file (with no humming) as the audio source
    and the same thing happen

can anyone tell how can I solve this issue
I don't understand how it happen since all my source audio file seem to be ok ..

    thanx

Tmpgenc is not very good processing audio. If your avi has an mp3 audio, extracto to wav, as you already did, then convert to mp2 or ac3 with, for instance, Ffmpeggui. If your avi has an ac3 audio, just demux.

    Cheers

  3. Options -> Environmental Settings -> Audio Engine -> Sample Frequency Converter -> High Quality. Might help.
