    I'm not sure if this is the correct section to be posting this. I just need to know does the MKV container support OGG audio?

    yes, it does support vorbis, though I am not sure what extension the file needs to be, before being muxed into the container (it may be different than .ogg, I don't know for sure).

    Supports vorbis and flac audio. Not speex though I don't think (at least it never used to). Yeah, vorbis in an ogg container is supported as input. Not sure about ogg flac. Once imported though, the ogg container is gone, since storing one container in another makes little sense.
