  1. Hello,

Sorry if this is one of the most asked questions on here but here goes:

I download lots of 1080p MKV's off torrents which is naughty... so ive decided to go cleanish and buy blu rays, rip and compress then sell the disk on...

I have brought AnyDVD HD and use the "Rip Video DVD to Harddisk" option and then am presented with a folder with all the files in, so i go to "STREAM" with all the .m2ts fles which i want to convert to MKV, I use "Any video converter," I've read on here that its the largest file so on some of my blu rays this works out fine, on others though like Harry Potter 7 which i brought today there's like 110 files all in small chunks, how can i create one file with all these together and then compress it?

Also another question is a have got a film called Apaloosa which when ripped has one large file that plays but when i compress it, it has the directors commentary instead...

    Please help...

    Thanks

Anyvideoconverter. Ripbot264 will let you pick correct playlist if there isn't just one big m2ts and also choose between audio tracks.

  5. So i have to individually pick the m2ts files and then it'll put them all in the right order??

You just pick the first m2ts with ripbot264 and then will you be able to choose playlist and audio tracks.

If you want to still use other converters you must first use bdinfo to identify correct playlist, open the playlist with tsmuxer, remove other audio tracks, save as a new m2ts and then convert it as usual.

  7. Hello...

So ive started to rip my own blu rays to mkv's... Ive usually been downloading torrents of 1080p MKV's that usually range from 8-13GB...

I use Anydvd HD to rip the bluray to the harddrive and then using ripbot to do my conversions as stuff like Harry Potter 7 are in multiple streams, but when the conversions are done there only about 3-4GB's for some reason... I have a drobo with up to 8TB space so size isnt an issue i just want to know details of settings of how to get my rips to be like the torrents ive been downloading...

    Any help would be appreciated...

    Thanks

What encoding settings are you using? You can set the output size in ripbot264 (if you use 2-pass encoding). Follow a guide if you have no idea what I'm talking about.
