  1. Guys I need some help. I have the R200 printer which I have been using mostly for DVD printing but now I need to print some passport photos and some photos in general. Can any1 recommend aplace to get some nice photo paper for cheap? I would like to get some 8.5 X 11 inch and then I can print some photos on it and cut it to get the best value. Any1 have a good place thats cheaper then the local stores and comes out great with the r200? Thanks.

I've seen photo papers at Big Lots! if you have such stores nearby. Didn't compare prices with my local office super stores though. I personally don't believe in photo printers, but that's another story.

Reason is simple: by the time you figure in the photo ink, photo paper, and photo printer, the costs are in the 20-30 cents range, possibly MORE. Why print your own when you can get it on REAL photo paper from a drug store for $0.29 cents, or even cheaper at Costco or something?

Especially with the newest silver halide processes, absolutely. Inkjet photo prints die fast, lose quality, and are never really that nice.

For something that is less photo and more graphics work, skip the ink junk, and grab a color laser.

No matter how cheap the deal, ink costs a lot of money after you figure in all costs, and it will never even look half as nice as other options.
