hi everyone..
I am new to this forum. but i hope any expert can solve my problum
I have used Adobe Preimere and TMPGenc to encode my AVI files in DVD format (in high bitrate or low bitrates).. but both are resulting the blurry motions. (in final encoded video) and looks like some lite ghosts appear when fast moving subject appears in the video..
i also try different setting options but it didn't solve the problume,
Can any expert (who also have experience of it) will tell me what problume is there?
Is it a CPU speed problume? bcz (i have 733MHz CPU)
how can i solve this? and I want to make a better DVD video.. as much quality as in my original DV

You probably have the wrong field order selected.

Not at all..
i already try these options.. but it didn't solve my problume..
any other advise pls.. -
The only effect CPU speed has on ecoding is the length of time it will take.
You're not providing enough information to diagnose the problem.
Is your DV AVI live camcorder footage or something recorded off TV? Does it have obvious interlace comb artifacts? (Open it with VirtualDubMod to see -- many media players will BOB deinterlace for display on the computer.) How are you judging the final result? On the computer or on TV? If on the computer, your player may simply be using a blend deinterlace. Post a sample frame from your source and the resulting MPEG file (again, I recommend using VirtualDubMod because it doesn't do any deinterlacing or other processing of the image.) -
I had this or a similar problem a few years ago when recording music videos off MTV , I recorded it full 720 x 576 interlaced as an avi and converted to mpg with TMPGenc , but a couple just blurred / ghosted like described above , I seem to recall researching it and finding the field order was damaged , the solution was to use Field Order Correct filter in Virtualdub and frameserve to TMPGenc . It only occurred in a few videos and they were broadcast fine but for some reason my ATi AIW recorded them that way . It happened a few times since , roughly 1 in a 100 . But I use a DVD recorder now .

Are the ghosts visible on your computer monitor or on the TV? Is your computer monitor an LCD? Some LCD displays have slow response times on pixel change and this typically would generate a ghost effect.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
Did you try the ADOBE FORUMS??
You might need to register first...
We've gone over your problems at Camcorderinfo, but i wasn't able to get you to post screenshots of your Premiere General settings...
Your encoder settings looked okay, but perhaps your project settings and general settings are giving you the problems.. -
I am having the same problem. I converted VHS to stand alone player. Frameserved into Vegas to sync audio and video (concert footage) and then frameserved to TMPGenc for the noise reduction filter. My seems to come up when I try cropping and resizing. I am experimenting with mine and will let you know what I find out.
