Friend recently bought this DVD player. Can't find a way to display the time remaining for the entire DVD and individual chapters. My older Toshiba displays this info.

Am I just missing it somehow? Didn't see it in manual.
Anybody else with this player that shows time remaining?
Is there such a thing as a software error so that this particular player is messed up?
