hi guys i just both a second hand dell laptop and i need to upgrade if is possible,
this is now (p4 m cpu 1.80 20gig hd 256 rm) please help me how mach it cost me i don't want spend more than 150 pound.
any help apprecited.

here in the US you can get 40 GB 5400 RPM between $55,and $70(Samsung,WD,Hitachi,Toshiba).memory 256mb ddr $22.I'm not sure about the prices in the UK

More memory for sure, an external drive if you can use it that way would work also if you don't want to mess with upgrading your internal HD.

A model number? number of available RAM slots? available bays?

My crystal ball does not work well on Mondays so you'll have to provide more information in order for it to gleen whether or not anything is upgradeable.
