audio static problem

i have a movie that is in 3 parts which i encoded each, and then i authored. when i go to play the movie in my dvd player the audio is there but it is all staticky whenthey talk. there is no problem with the audio before i author,the problem sems to be after the author.....how can i fix this.i used g spot and under audio it said n.a

Please give us more information,
Which tool? Use convertxtodvd for downloaded stuff.
Is the burned dvd audio also static if you play on your computer?

and try identify the audio source with avi2clipboard or mediainfo.

no , when i play it on my pc, the audio is fine.only when i play it in my dvd it is staticky......i use tmpegnc author
