Should a homemade DVD work in standalone AND PC?
It seems whenever I attempt to create a simple showcase DVD using DVD Architect or DVD Workshop 2, they play in the standalone player but wont play on my PC.
I need to make sure it plays back in both because the target audience may have a standalone unit or decide to pop it in their laptop! Can anyone provide pointers?
Thanks,
Alain

Is this PC the same that make the DVD? If is not keep in mind that not all drives and disk are the same. When you prepare DVD you have to make sure that the drive its going to be played on acept the format of your disk ( DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW ect....). Also for some reason somethimes certain drives don't like some disk. You can cross reference your hardware on this site for compatibility.
If the problem is with the same drive that burn the disk then you should check another software player.
Good Luck...I want to believe....
