Combine MiniDVD (1.4GB) to DVD

I apologize for this post. I'm sure someone else has asked and i've read alot of different threads but get confused having to jump around guide to guide to fill iin the gaps.

I've burnt many coasters trying to figure this out. Can someone please shed some light.

I've read 800 guides and have tried everything that I understand.

I have approx 15 mini 1.4GB sony DVD videorecorder discs that i want to combine to larger DL 8.5 +R or even 4.7 GB +RW discs.

I've tried DivX to DVD sofware... I have DVD shrink... I have DVDFab Decrypt... TMPGEnc DVD Author

Nothing I've seen to have tried is working. My DVD RW Drive is DL compatible with +R and was able to successful backup DVD Movies.

I do not need menus... I just need to combined files to play start to finish on a stand alone DVD player.

Just authored the combined 1.4GB discs using TMPG DVD Author... wont play in GE DVD player (older) but will play in Sony PS2 and newer Aspire DVD player. Any way to convert to play in the GE DVD player

you can try different media and burning at a slower speed, but some standalones were not designed to be able to play dvdr at all.

i know the GE is an older player probably bought approx. 1999-2000. Did burn at recommended disc speed 4X
