    A m8 wants to buy the Ferguson LDVD81 and wants to know in advance if this will play back up dvd's??
    Either R2 backups or from other regions
    Can anyone advise me if these machines are region free and able to play backups??

    Not region free. Will play backups on all -/+r/rw discs.
