I have a file that I would like to convert into a single video using VirtualDubMod (it's the easiest way I know to combine AVI files). The problem is that when I try to append the AVI with another one, I come to a hard stop because the videos are of different formats.

Looking at the videos with AVICodec, I see that they range from 1357 to 1655 Kbps and 512*384 to 624*464. What I want to know is if there is any way to convert them so that they are all the same and I can combine them into a single AVI file. If there is a way to do it even without converting them to the same video type, that will work as well.

    Thanks in advance, all.

You can't join different resolutions, convert all to same 512x384 and same bitrate, audio codec. You might have to add black borders if they have different aspect ratios.

You can batch encode with super or mediacoder.
