  1. Dvd's play great, the vcd's that I get from elsewhere work fine, but all of the vcd's that I encode myself always go out of sync once in a while. I encode with tmpeg and have tried multiplexing with tmpeg and bbmpeg with no luck. I have tried burning with Nero and with Adaptac, no luck with either.

I was just wondering if anyone else has this same problem, or am I just doing something wrong. The movie will play for about ten minutes, then the video will go really fast and then slow and everything is out of sync for a minute before going back to normal, it can get really annoying.

  3. I've got that problem once before, that when I encoded at 23.976 fps with NTSCfilm template. You guys should try Sefy's templates especially SEVCD (can find in this website), this one should work.

  4. I own an Apex660 too and noticed that when I cut the movies after encoding I get audio/video synch problems. I also noticed that when I cut as I encode using source range, I don't have audio/video synch problems. This might help.
