I don't know about DVD Audio, but it's easy to extract the audio tracks from video DVDs with either Cinematize or Toast 7. Both have the ability to extract on a chapter by chapter basis. You'd need to have iTunes encode the mp3s from the extracted tracks.
Another option is to use Audio Hijack to record the audio while it's playing on your Mac. -
I'm a little lost...what do I do with the MTR contents? The Audio folder is empty. Use the video?

ffmegX is asking me to download 3 things. I was able to download one, but I got a billion random letters from one of the links.
See:
http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/MacOS/mpeg2enc.intel
What do I do?
It also gave the same download link for both "mencoder" and "mplayer." I'm pretty sure I now have 2 copies of the same thing. It gave this link for both:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mplayerosx/ffmpegXbinaries20060307.zip
Any help would be greatly appriciated. -

Thanks.
I unzipped the two files. Then I downloaded the other and it downloaded as "mpeg2enc-1.intel.txt". You mention getting rid of the txt but that's how it downloaded. Nevertheless I selected what downloaded and the ffmpegX program went through to it's main page.
So ripping and get the VOB file, then what do I do with ffmpegX? Sorry, I'm dumb. Do I just drag it to the "From" and select "audio file to mp3" then hit "encode"? Will I have a folder filled with mp3's on my desktop after it's done or where are the mp3's stored? Thanks all!

Ok thanks.
Is there anyway to have the mp3 converted at a higher byrate (sp?)? It says 128.
