Heres the case, I'm converting my music VHS colllection to DVD-R using my Pioneer 633HS standalone recorder. Example I transfered my Van Halen 1995 PPV concert to the harddrive. divided all the songs to tracks named them all and created a DVD very nice with the menu and all etc. etc. What I dont like is when the disc is played and jumps to the next song track there is like a 1ss or 2ss pause, which drives me nuts! it kills the rethym of the viewing experience.

I use a Mac computer at home. Is there a sotfware were I can reburn my DVDR disc and eliminate the pause between tracks?

Any help is apreciated. I have toons of concerts I'm gonna transfer and that little pause bugs me.

    Thanks 4 your time

Ricky, i would try reauthoring the DVD as a single file instead of breaking it into separate songs. You could still add Chapter Points at the beginning of the individual songs and create menus that way. This way you could still click to a favorite song or watch the whole thing as a normal concert.

There are many ways to measure success. You just have to find your own yardstick.

If you break up your video into seperate clips you get seperate titles on your DVD, not chapters. As Brunman says, keep it to a single title and add chapter points and you will get a much nicer product.

I don't understand why not. You put at chapter mark at each song, and a menu to link to each chapter and you have a song selection.

If you want to play just one song, then return to the menu, you will have at look at more expensive software that supports chapter playlists.

This is how commercial discs do it.
