Hello to everybody
I have a movie that has two tracks ( of audio ). Is it possible to eliminate one of the tracks?
I try to synchronize its audio and video with SubtitleWorkshop and I don't succeed. Will that be due the movie has two tracks simultaneously? If so is there another way to synchronize the movie?
Thank you
Cheers

subtitle workshop doesn't care about the number of audio tracks, or if you even have audio.
You can easily drop an audio track in virtualdubmod (Streams -> Stream List. Click on the audio track you don't want, then click on disable. Save a new copy of the file in Direct Stream Copy mode)
In what way are your subs out of sync ?Read my blog here.

Thanks gunslinger for your help.
I synchronize 30 lines, by example, I save and I go out from the program. I enter again and those 30 lines are not synchronized again. I did this 40 or 50 times and it is the first time that it happens.
Cheers. -
Are you trying to synchronize subtitles (text) or audio dubbing track?
Subtitle Workshop only create subtitle text, than you have to use DVD authoring software or MuxMan to combine text with video.
If you just want to delete one audio track from video you can try DVD Shrink. -
Jomapil - I understand that English is not your first language, but you almost never include enough information in your posts for us to help you.
What is your source? VCD? DVD? If it is DVD, then yes, you can eliminate one of the audio tracks. There are many ways to do this. You can demux all the audio and video tracks and rebuild them with Muxman and don't include the audio track you don't want.
Subtitle workshop has nothing to do with audio, so either you have made a very big mistake or you didn't tell us that you are really trying to synchronize subtitles. If you are trying to convert subtitles from NTSC to PAL or from PAL to NTSC, my experience is that it is almost impossible to get them to sync correctly. I tried to do it once and gave up. Too much work.
If you are also trying to convert an audio track from NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC, you will have to do a lot of work or you will have problems.
Maybe you should look for a video forum in Portuguese. Many of us want to help you, but since you consistently do a very poor job of describing what you are doing in this forum, maybe it would be better for you to find a video forum in Portuguese. -
jman98 I appreciate your help but if you don't understand me, forget me. There are other members that understand me. If I am not very explicit the first time, I complete myself in the second or third times.
I know I don't write English very well, but in other foruns ( emule, VR Zone, Afterdawn ) I ask for help about other questions and it never appeared anybody as you and I always receive answers to my questions.
Thanks Gunslinger, you answered my present question clearly.
Cheers to everybody and till the next.
