    I have few .mkv files that opens only audio in them (says something like this in BSplayer: Unknown file format). I have Matroska pack installed and i have tried other various players and codecs, i have even tried to convert it to other formats -> no success.
    Am i missing some codec i haven't tried or what is wrong?
    plz help, this is giving me big headache

    open the mkv with mediainfo and identify the video codec. probably h264/x264...and you can use ffdshow for it.
