Hi,
I have mutliple AVI's i wish to put on a DVD, i usually use Sonic MyDVD or Ulead Studio to create the DVD. The automatically encode the video and write to a DVD. It can take a long time but was told all programs take there time encoding video.
What my problem is sometimes it fails for some reason or the next. I then have to start it all over again! Which is a pain. I also dont know what it failed on.
Is there another way i can do this, maybe in sections so if anything fails i know why.
Maybe encoding them to mpeg2 first? If i did this would Sonic still have to re-code it?
Any help much appricated
Thanks
Alex

if it's downloaded avi use divxtodvd or convertxtodvd.
you can also encode with standalone mpeg encoders and mydvd and ulead should not reencode(but they may...) like tmpgenc xpress, tmpgenc plus, mainconcept mpeg encoder, procoder express, hcenc, etc. see our tools section for video encoders (mpg, dvd).
