  1. Hi guys,

I have a simple 7 minute mpeg video showreel (mpeg 2 compliant) and all I want to do is make the video loop, but half way through when compiling I keep getting an error saying files are not dvd compliant re-encode them and it's also says something like "out of memory Gop" when half through muxing it just aborts.

The file is 100% mpeg 2 compliant, I have done this before without any problems, any idea what this maybe?

I need to have this done for work tomorrow so any help or altrnative means will be greatley appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. MPG-2 compliant and DVD-compliant are two ENTIRELY different things, also DVDlab is among the more picky of authoring progs.

Try another author, several free ones available, I like GuiforDVDAuthor. Also check your GOP structure in encoding app, seems to be the source of your issue, never seen that one myself though I bailed on DVDlab long ago. Too many coasters which other authoring apps made good DVD's with.

You may be able to just burn the mpg file to a CD or DVD, many players will handle this, definitely OK for PC playback.

DVD Lab isn't any more picky than any other authoring software - if it's DVD compliant, it will take it. Post a G-spot (2.52b) screenshot to confirm it is in fact DVD compliant, or read What is DVD (top left corner) and encode again.
