how do you get Dual Mono-sound, or something?
When you've got a vcr connected to your Dvd-recorder?

    I've got a 'Home-Theatre Amp' connected & only the LEFT-channel speaker receives,
'is it something to do with the mono-sound only receiving one channel Since it's direct from the video, they are def NOT stereo

    unless it's something else??

Have you tried using a virtual surround sound setting on the receiver?? That should do a fake stereo for you.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I have an ILO recorder and when I used the front AV connections I would only get mono and had to use Goldwave to turn it into stereo. When I connected the VCR to the back connections it recorded in Stereo. If you have another connection on your recorder you might try switching where you have your vcr hooked up.

  6. Use a Y adapater to route the mono output of the VCR to both audio input channels of the DVD recorder.

The audio only plays properly if there's a 'Subwoofer or Amp connected to the dvd-player!
    same for the computer!

'No sound if you then play it on a standard-dvd Player connected to the tv,

    How,
    Does GOLDWAVE work?
    I have the 'gwave426' Version!!

I can't remember exactly how I did it but I know that when you load the mono file you can copy the channel to the other.
