    Is There any software to convert mpeg2 to AC3 and DTS, 5.1 or 7.1? Tried Besweet, Surcode doesn't seems to work. Can 3:2 pull down actualy produce 5.1 AC3 when play back? Thanks.

    what most audio encoders need are wav files. 6 or 7 mono wavs to make dts or ac3 5.1 etc. mpeg2 is already compressed 2 ch. audio but could be turned into ac3 2ch. you may have to convert it back to wav first. 3:2 pulldown is for video only, doesn't do anything to the audio.
