I would like to be able to play an AC3 file and have a mixer that allows me to adjust the volume of the different channels (R, L, C, RS, LS, LFE) during playback.. Anyone?

    Thanks.

  2. There are a few players out there that can ajust those channels' volume. The one that worked fine for me is the KM Player. Though now you are now require to register their forum in order to download the LATEST version (you can still find the older version at other places). The forum link is http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/index.php. But why don't you use the Windows control panel to control your volume?[/code]

This is not about controlling the overall volume, but rather checking out what the different channels (L, R, C, LS, RS) sound like to get an understaning of how Dolby Digital mixes on DVDs are created. I have a stereo speaker setup, so I'd have to set this in the software that's doing the decoding.. Anything else besides KM player?
