  1. hi sorry if this is already here but couldn't find anything.
can anyone help me with this i use nero vision express for my dvd creation but it takes so long to encode my avi file to dvd.
is there something i'm doing wrong as i saw somewhere it should only take maybe hour and half at most
i add my avi file, 40 mins long and go through the steps and then i save it to a folder on hard disk to hopefully make it faster but when i click on ok the time remaining says 3 hrs 15 mins.
its pretty much the same if i try and encode to dvd with other software like tmpeg, winavi, or soem others i tried can anyone help? is there some setting i have pressed to make it slow is there anything i can do?
    thanks in advance
    Phil

If you are using the computer that you show in your profile, that's about how long it will take (PIII - 800 Mhz.) If you are going to do very much editing, you should buy a faster computer.
