    this has been posted before but it wasnt specific,
    Im getting the "unspecified error" when using nero7 with s2d 2.1.2284 and couldnt work out from the last post if nero 7 was compatible with version 2284 or 2294 ?

    iam using 2.1.2284 and wont upgrade unless i have to

  2. Chrissyboy had stated in a previous thread that it was compatible "with the latest realease." I would recommend you upgrade to the 2.1.2294 version and see if your problem goes away, I can't see any reason to be reluctant to do so.

    Nero 7 is compatible with all versions of SVCD2DVD builds from the last 6 months or so. "Unspecified Recorder Error" would suggest that the drive identification is wrong somewhere. Can you burn the VIDEO_TS folder with Nero Express? If so what is the drive within Nero Express? In SVCD2DVD settings,is that drive an option?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    nero works fine on its own, both burning rom and express - they both show the correct drives.

    my burning drive is an option in svcd2dvd - works perfectly with copytodvd

    but i get that error when processing a movie thru s2d with nero as the burner

    i prefer nero..............might just update s2d and see if that works
