    While the encode is going on? My question is with respect to Mainconcept, CCE, TMPGEnc and Canopus Procoder. Thanks.

    Most encoders will use as much CPU as they can get anyway, but because it isn't realtime or time dependent, doing other things just slows the encoding process down. I have found CCE to be very multi-tasking friendly, in that it will share the CPU with other processes, within reason.
