is there out there any software that i can create a video with a type of text message in it instead of recording my screen and controlling the resolution?

unlike cam studio which record my screen but cant control the resolution - i need to control the resolution of the video

  2. camtasia studio can adjust recording area, and thus resolution, but not free

another approach would be to crop/edit/resize the camstudio recording

EDIT: camstudio can record a region, or fixed region (maybe you are using an older build?); just look under the region menu

Camstudio screen area capture can be adjusted ... or are you talking about the "output size" ... not adjustable afterwards.

1: Normal to cap screen , check fps (prevents later issues)
2: Use subtitleworkshop or visualsubsync to generate the "text" as subtitle , including the timings
3: Use avidemux, load video, then video filters, subtitle, load the new subtitle, position it, then back to video filters > resize for required output resolution
4: Set final compression for both video and audio (normally null unless camstudio was set to caps audio as well) .
