  1. Does anyone know how to remove the opening credits on a video clip?

    Your question: It depends on what kind of video clit it is (.avi, .wmv, mpeg1/2, etc.) For .avi & .wmv, if you have Windows XP, try using Windows Movie Maker. For mpeg1/2 you can demux to .m2v and mpa/mp2/ac3 and try Cuttermaran (see Tools to the left of VideoHelp screen). Also, the different upgrades of VirtualDub can help you to cut your videos, but the result will be .avi. I hope this will help you.

    Since opening credits are usually shown over the top of the movie, I think the best you would be able to do is use the DeLogo filter in VirtualDub, but if they are motion titles it will require an almost frame by frame effort. Even if they are still, you will probably end up with "blending" artifacts. But that's the only way I can think of that would still keep that part of the movie.
