I have a version of SVCD2DVD which optionally processes mpgs differently.

If you have source mpgs which have one audio channel (e.g LEFT) in one language and the other channel (RIGHT) in another language - it will produce a DVD with two audio tracks which are selectable. It seems there are many south east asian VCDs which have this type of mpg.

Note it doesn't process SVCDs with multiple audio streams this way - just if the channels are as described.

Also note this is only for mpeg-audio not AC3 (yet)

Existing users: Let me know if you are intrested in testing this version (I don't have many sources to test)

  4. Heya,

I've got a whole lot of SVCD's with 2xaudio Tracks (movie and commentary) ripped to SVCD with DVD2SVCD.

I'm having problems getting both tracks converted with SVCD2DVD.

I think that this version you have of SVCD2DVD may work on these. Any thoughts?

When I play these SVCD's through my DVD player I have to switch between Left and Right Channels to hear the extra audio track.

    Thanks

    Mike

If you have 2 audio streams then you will have to wait for v2. If you have 1 audio "track" on one channel of the stereo (left) and one on the other (right) then v1.5 will do this. It creates a DVD with 2 stereo audio streams which are selectable.

    Hi ChrissyBoy,
I'm trying to convert some of my SVCDs which have one language on left and another language on right channel. I tried the latest SVCD2DVD demo and the two languages are still in left and right in final DVD. I can't use DVD player's remote to select just one language unless I turn down one audio channel volume to 0.
Do you have any instruction to extract left and right audio track in DVD so I can select just one of them?
    Thanks.

Is v1.5 available for download? How about the latest v2.1?
