    well guys this is a quick question i have got my dvd to region free but i have got on one cd instead of the player playing the disk it asks me to enter an 6digit pin well the disk itself is golden would that have anything to do with it and i tryed it on other regions but it tells me wrong region and when i go back to region free it does the same thing

    so whats a man supposed to do ?????

    if anyone knows how to get this working i would love to hear from ye

    Could be any number of problems. Maybe the drive doesn't actually support region free. Maybe it isn't accepting the region free code. Maybe you are not properly completing the process. You may need to set it back to its original region. It's also possible the procedure didn't complete properly for whatever reason and now the player is just hosed.

    Have you tried it with any discs besides the "golden" disc?

    i have tryed it with other usa disks they work fine but this one doesnt just asks me for 6 digit code,
    i have set it back to the orginal and then to region free again but it does the same thing but i can play disks from other regions but not this one and it asks me for a code????

    really i tried to look for the code but all i was getting was the 9999 then 0 for region free but as i said it asks for 6 digits it somewhat confusing and annoying
    but sure thats the fun in learing i suppose!!!!!!

    Check your manual and the player's settings. Are you sure it's not asking you for any sort of parental protection code?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
