Pictures and sound breaking up. Why?

Having some problems!

New to this game.

Recently acquired Premiere 6.0 for editing.
Using Pinnacles Expression 2.2.1.11 for burning.

Would like to burn DVDs for the TV (UK so PAL)

After much screaming at the computer and a whole heap of scrap DVDs and trailing through this forum, I have finally managed to get what could be described as a movie with music on my TV. However the sound and pictures are breaking up throughout the entire movie.

What should I be checking? Please HELP.

Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like a media problem - your player or burner doesn't like the media. Check out www.nomorecoasters.com for a rundown of what's generally considered good and bad media.
Also, it would help if you used a more descriptive title for your question. Just edit your post and change the subject into something more descriptive.

Check the media type ... you might be writing to + media type , which can cause this problem .
