I tried using the hack immediately after powering up the DVD player for the first time. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Here's what I did:

    1. Powered on player. (DVD logo appears)
    2. Open tray (While screen is on DVD logo, NOT on setup screen).
    3. Pushed 81328 on remote, but I get the "not available" sign...the "0" with a slash through it. This happened for every button I pressed. Pushing enter does nothing either.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hacks don't always work on all players, some newer models often have the firmware changed to prevent the hack from working.
