Newbie here. I have done a search on this and could not find any help...

I have DVD Architect 3.0 and am trying to author a DVD. I have placed buttons on the main menu and tried to put images in them. But, apparently the images I have put in are an incorrect size. The images are of me and my wife and when I put them into the buttons the image is zoomed in and you can not see the picture very well.

My question it this - is there a way to resize the image in a button without resizing the button itself? Or, can I reposition an image in a button? Let's say I have an image that uses the rule of thirds and my subject is in the left third of the image. When I put it the image into a button, it automatically positions it in the center. Can I not move the image so the subject in the left third of the pitcure is centered in the button? Can I zoom out so more of the image is shown in the picture?

I have tried and tried to do these things and can not. Do I have to do all the moving and resizing in another program (like Photoshop...the files are psd files)? Any help would be very appreciated.
