    when i convert a 700mb avi vidoe to mpg the quality get reduced so it is badly pixelated, even when i make the mpg around 1gb this still happens, does anyone know how to i can convert the avi so the mpg is the same quality as the avi?

    how do you convert now? what tool(s)?

    convertxtodvd / divxtodvd is easy and pretty good quality.
