I've seen ads about PC-to-TV converter. Are they any good? I have a HDTV and I like to use that as my monitor is if possible. What brand or model is best in your opinion?

You'd have to be more specific. A lot of devices have a name like that. In general, you wouldn't want to use a TV in place of a computer monitor. They just can't display fine enough details. Video is not usually a problem, but trying to read printing from a TV becomes frustrating very quickly. A few HDTVs have a PC input and may work for this, but then they wouldn't need any sort of 'converter'. So the general answer is no.

Thanks! I did a search on google and found a bunch of them...but I always have this impression that coming from pc to tv will always result in a refresh rate problem. I guess I kinda like to know if anyone has tried and get a better result or that it actually works.
