1)Smurf said that his link should help "a bit"...not be the definative answer.
2)You won't find "the definative answer" because what you wish to achieve is a lot of tedious work by anyone's video abilities. Taking a complete chapter of a DVD is no problem at all...taking anything under that is more like "editing".

What you want is to first shrink the disc in all the various ways. Yes, make them all. Takes hours and days, good luck with that.

Next, extract clips from each disc, using guide I linked for you.

Edit them down to 30 seconds in something like Womble MPEG-VCR or VideoReDo.

Finally author them in something, probably TDA.

It's not hard, it just takes time.

a chapter is fine, if i can cick next and be on the new clip iosts fine, i guess i could just swap disks but its sooooo much harder to compare that way

i think it would be fine to do a whole chapter, thats like 10-15 mins

I don't see what the issue is. This is a simple project from a technical stand point. The only issue is the amount of time required, however I believe I could get something very close to what you are talking about assembled and ready in under 3 hours using existing chapter points, and 6 hours if extra editing is required.

In fact, using playlists in DVD Lab Pro could make this a very simple job.

Rip the chapters you need with DVD Shrink, demux them with PGCDemux, author with DVD Lab Pro, using play lists to produce different versions with different lengths or combinations. 3 hours would have this project completed.

If you had started this project when you first posted about it, you would be out looking at new TVs by now.
