I have been using MyDVD by Sonic to put a homemade slideshow and a "Backup of The Lion King" on one DVD. I used Windows Movie Maker to make the slideshow and then exported it as an AVI., that part worked great as far as bringing that into MyDVD. I didn't have to rip the movie since it was already a "backup". The slideshow and movie each have their own buttons on the DVD. I thought i was clever enough to just drag the video from the backup DVD into MyDVD. The button for the movie showed up, i thought i was good to go. I hit burn on MyDVD and it went through the burning process, i thought, until an error popped up saying that the movie wasn't of the correct mpeg format. I also tried to rerip the backup dvd with DVDdecrypter and bring it into DVDshrink and then bring the main movie from that into MyDVD, but the audio doesn't stay with the movie. I've looked around on this website, but i cannot find that 1 thing to help me cross that bridge of having a homemade slideshow and a movie on one DVD. Any help or link to the right forum would be greatly appreciated.

  2. 1. Use TMPGenc to convert the slide show avi into DVD mpeg2 file.
    2. Use TMPGenc DVDauthor to add the slide show in one track, and the movie in another track, compile and burn.
