Hrmm, new here so I'm not sure if it goes here.

But I'm using total video converter to convert some video files. My problem is that after I convert the file there is no sound in the new file. Is there some type of setting that i have to have?? Any help would be great! Thanks!

First you would have to tell us what kind of video and audio formats you are converting from and what you are converting to?

Try dropping the file into Gspot. It will tell you the video and audio format. You may not have the proper audio codec installed. Gspot will tell you which one is needed. I would guess AC3, but there are many other audio formats.

There are freeware programs that do these type of conversions also. SUPER is one. If you are converting to DVD format, DivxToDVD has a freeware version available. VirtualDub or VirtualDub Mod are good AVI converters and are freeware.

    And welcome to the forums.
