    when trying to preveiw a clip in the title preveiw window - the window remains black and i only get audio !!

    this is the same with both mpeg and avi files
    i am using the latest version 2.1

    Can you play said files in WMP? SVCD2DVD plays its previews the using WMP under the hood.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    Hi there, I am having the same problem. however I can view all the avi's or mpeg's in wmp. But have only audio on the preview screen and so cannot capture etc.

    hey there,
    all i did is went to the divx web site found on google and downloaded the divx codecs,
    dont get anymore codecs than you need - otherwise you will run into more problems
