Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is a stupid question. But when scanning a label, can the hub size be adjusted by means of manipulating the scan settings? All the commercial discs have various hub sizes, of course; but most of us use only one or two brands of blanks for backups, and the hub areas don't always match up. I find it very annoying when I ended up with a white ring around the hub of my backup because my scan has a larger non-printable area than my blank media. (I'm not talking about the differences of hub-printable vs. non-hub printable; these are all hub printables.)
Therefore, I'm wondering if those of you who are very adept at scanning labels know if this can be done? If not, what do you do when you encounter the situation where your scan has a larger non-printable hub than your blanks?
Thanks in advance!

I use white hub-printable TY mostly; silver TY if the original is hub not-printable. And TDK PrintOn for those in-between sizes.
