encode DVD to single xvid Avi?

Hi all,
Im a lil new to al this encoding & stuff so seek some guidence from u all.
The new Version of AutoGK does not have file/DVD mode but only File mode.
I know how to encode Vob's to xvid but i can't Make out how u guyz rip whole DVD into one Xvid in single pass or 2 xvid avi;s in 2 passes. I cant understand the 2 line documentation.

Can someone pls ellaborate on how to do this. checked some sites but nothing clear. im sure there is a small setting to be done.
I'll be glad to be illustrated.

you could rip the DVD, and only take the main movie files...then choose *.ifo and to convert with AutoGK. this works very well for me, ripping my DVDs to Divx or Xvid...

can u plz illustrate how to give *.IFO input.
Do u mean actually typing "<path>\*.ifo" in the input File section ??

You could use DVDDecrypter to rip the DVD to .ifo or file format. You can set it to rip just the main movie or rip it and create one large VOB.

I normally use DVDDecrypter or DVD Fab Decrypter to rip the entire DVD to the computer, then convert that file to Xvid with FairUse Wizard. There is still a freeware version available for it.
