Unknown Audio

At least this audio codec is unknown to me even though I have seen it a couple of times. The video on this AVI is exceptional but neither Qt or MPlayer will play the sound. I tried it in VLC and VLC crashed. I want to convert it to DVD but without the soundtrack... I'm sure you get the idea. Here's what little info I have:


Codec.............: Koepi 1.1.0
Audio Format......: AC3 6ch 384 kb/s 48kHZ
Video Bitrate.....: 1393 kb/s
FPS...............: 25.000
Resolution........: 656x352 (1.86:1)

Am I S.O.L. or does somebody out there have an idea?

Well, I'm LMAO while blushing (not a pretty picture, I know...). I just noticed that when QuickTime couldn't play the audio it decided to be coy and TURN OFF MY SPEAKERS! Now, after a reboot, I have discovered that the AVIs I mentioned above WILL play both sound and picture in VLC and MPlayer. Can I convert them to DVD using VLC or MPlayer instead of Quick Time? Sorry if my above post confused anybody.
