  1. The McAfee Firewall was disabled on my PC, and I am enjoying the brisk web serving. I most likley will fix that, but I wonder how much did firewall sloooowed our interconnect transcation down ?

    A properly configured firewall will not slow you down at all.

    A disabled firewall will slow you down considerably especially once those looking for unprotected systems locate you.
